The downward moving conical diaphragm jig is a jig that uses the repeated movement of the diaphragm to screen substances (water) and create pulsating beverages. The diaphragm jig is only suitable for screening fine sand raw materials due to its small vibration amplitude and low compressive strength. The diaphragm jigs used in coal mines in China include lower cone vibration diaphragm jigs and side diaphragm jigs.
Diaphragm jigs can be divided into four types:
① The upper (side) moving diaphragm jig is driven by the axial crankshaft mechanical equipment to make repeated movements of the vulcanized rubber diaphragm, and then pushed. It is suitable for solving the problem of raw materials with coarse or medium particle size distribution. The particle size distribution limit can reach 12~18mm, which is commonly used in tungsten and tin ore dressing plants;
② The downward moving diaphragm jig is generally only used to screen medium and fine sand grade iron ore below 6mm;
③ Side moving diaphragm jigs: also divided into ladder jigs and rectangular frame jigs. The ladder jig has a large working capacity, which can reach 15-30 tons/(set · hour), and is generally used to handle iron ore below 6mm; The rectangular frame jig can solve 20mm sand iron ore and also fine sand iron ore, with a production capacity of 5-25 tons/(set · hour);
④ Conical jigs can be thought to be composed of the axial splicing of modules with ladder shaped surface layer. This kind of machine equipment is mainly installed in the sand dredger for rough separation application. Because the output of single machine version is large, and the ore feeding does not need strict classification, it has been widely used in the separation of gold placer and tin placer.
